Rejection letter #1

Subject: Re: poetry submission
From: poetry@stickmanreview.com

To: me

Thank you for submitting your work to Stickman Review. Though it does not meet our current needs, we appreciate the opportunity to consider it for publication.

There is something that feels good about my first eve rejection letter. I have been rejected. I didn’t expect to actually get published, but I had nothing to lose. But this is great! There is a release of something (pressure?) in knowing that, at least for now, my stuff isn’t good enough. So… I’ll keep writing, and maybe try again.

Go me.
