(poem) Prayer to the Saint of Leaving by Sierra Demulder

I just discovered Sierra Demulder. I can’t remember how exactly — I think a friend recommended her because of my recent heartache of losing a very dear friend. She writes a lot about that shit. And it feels good to read poetry that you can identify with. So here’s my favorite poem by her — except that’s a little hard to say because I love every single poem from her collection, New Shoes on a Dead Horse.
