[POEM] Sounds (unfinished)

rain on the car roof as i napped under my coat
foot crunch in snow
your breath behind me on the trail
his silence through the ether
hail hitting glass
monochromatic melodies filling the kitchen
over poured coffee and quiet compassion
branch snapping under the weight of heavy snow
the silence of winter
the buzzing of power lines as fog moves across the valley
melting snow hitting the forest floor
the memory of your laugh
Girlyman reminding me that everything’s easy
